Small yet exquisite, this intricately detailed treasure offers a serene and refined space for later life. It is an architectural response that sheds the ornate frills of a lifetime of trinkets, distilling beauty to its purest form where sculptural space, light, air, and spirituality take centre stage.
A simple yet striking extension is seamlessly inserted into a rich tapestry of aged brickwork, each piece varied in colour, texture, and form. By introducing a contemporary addition that stands apart from, yet harmonizes with, its historic surroundings, the result is a building that enriches its context, a quiet retreat with a secluded courtyard garden and delicate butterfly brickwork.
Non-conforming window reveals create contemplative seating nooks, framing views and inviting meaningful interaction between the user and the architecture. Inside, the warm tones of lime plaster and timber form a cocoon-like sanctuary, where texture and function merge in a tactile embrace. The ever-changing path of sunlight plays an integral role, blurring the boundary between indoors and out, making the courtyard garden feel like an extension of the interior.

“A small home where love is the guiding light, not cluttered with things, but with moments bright.
A sanctuary where peace and calm reside, where the heart finds solace, and joy abides.”
