The design concept was to create a vibrant contemporary space connected to the landscape beyond, with an emphasis on the interaction between the existing old and the modern new, features of the Old Granary. It sits within the curtilage of Listed Buildings and in an idyllic rural location. The success of the project lies in maintaining the natural materials and earthy neutral palette and inserting large windows to provide spectacular views of the landscape, emphasising the relationship between the interior and exterior spaces.
