This little gem on a stunning site set in woodland has wonderful views out to the landscape. The client gave us the freedom to design a small, compact, and simple Scandinavian house where we used a simple palette of Charred and Natural Siberian Larch with houndstooth detailing at junctions. The clean forms and textures of the trees on-site making them part of the design. The interior follows Scandinavian principles where open-plan spaces and muted tones are used. Internally bleached timber and white walls in contrast with black accents focus the views onto the landscape and out through the picture windows.
