Check out the link here to have a look at the incredible shots : https://www.mattinsonassociates.com/portfolio/woodland-house/We were taken on by the client's of this job as Architects some time ago to design a building that was iconic yet timeless and would sit seamlessly in the surrounding Woodland landscape in Wootton, Isle of Wight. The site itself falls within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which meant the planning process would be particularly challenging. However, we got it through planning first time round and designed a beautiful home that was light on the earth to avoid tree roots and that celebrated the surrounding oak trees.“Mattinson Associates did an amazing job securing planning permission for our new build family home in a very difficult site surrounded by ancient woodland and in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Our new home has been built carefully around the trees and has become part of the woodland. The house is still under construction but the likeness to Lindsay’s original concept design sketch already is uncanny! Such a beautiful design and we can’t wait for it to be finished!” Owner of Woodland House
